Atlantic Aviation FBO Terminal Complex

This project involved the addition of a new FBO terminal building and two new hangars for Atlantic Aviation’s terminal complex at PDK. The 25-acre development encompassed nearly 15 acres of new pavement for taxilanes, aprons, and vehicular parking lots.
Aulick Engineering served as the primary engineering firm responsible for civil site design services including site layout, FAA compliance review, pavement design, grading and drainage, fencing, and erosion control. Services included extensive pavement analysis to maximize use of existing pavements that could be rehabilitated. Construction administration services included bi-weekly meetings, site visits, submittal review, RFI responses, and issuance of special instructions as field conditions changed the project during construction on this World War II era site.

One of our more recent projects was the Atlantic Aviation FBO Terminal Complex at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport.
